Upon impact, the polymer ball delays expansion, allowing penetration before exposing the cavity. Consequently, controlled expansion increases stopping power while reducing over-penetration risk. Additionally, the polymer tip prevents clothing or debris from clogging the hollow point, ensuring reliable performance in real-world scenarios.
